Miscellaneous Pictures

Soursop. My favorite new fruit that I've tried since I've been here Learning how to suture on oranges. Not sure what I was examining so closely

Learning suturing on oranges, the right set of sutures is a horizontal mattress suture, the one on the left is a figure eight suture
Believe it or not, the social worker showed the RN up on suturing! That's what I get for not being the one who sews things regularly like Alexis does.
My sister's pet that she has been crying for since she arrived. The cat has not been named as of yet. Although Mephibosheth was suggested because he keeps falling off things and huting his legs.
Since the frog didn't turn into my prince I decided to try a crab that we found. Needless to say, it wasn't sucessful either!
Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be monkeys!
One of the mission planes taking off from the airstrip on campus. I can't wait until the pilot and his wife and daughter who are going to live in the house on our airstrip move down here so we will have a pilot flying out of our campus.
A young iguana. These little rascals like to get into our garden and eat up our food, so we catch them when we can and relocate them far, far away
My sister and I at the January birthday celebration for Rondell and Kimberly. We always have yummy food on birthdays, this time we had homemade mango ice cream, good stuff!

A premature baby boy that was miscarried. The intrecuit features were amazing in a baby that tiny!

Wow, that picture of the baby is very touching! How long is Alexis there for?? And by the way, how do you manage to blog from down there? Do they actually have decent Internet service??
