Clinic Fun

Something that I thouroughly enjoyed while the group was here in Mashabo was the medical clinic that Dr. Scott and his wife, Rebecca, oversaw. While I immensly enjoy teaching, there are many days that I miss the hands-on medical work of the ER. Since arriving here in September, I have had several opportunities to use my nursing skills, but they seem to spread themselves out few and far between. Now, after working in the clinic with Dr. Scott, I have been reminded yet again how much fun it is to see patients, handle emergencies, deal with blood, and other such things that can only be truely appreciated by those of the medical profession.

Not your typical OR, that's for sure =)
